    Can you scietifically prove that there is, in fact, an apple on your desk? And that you are, in fact, actually looking at your desk and not floating in some vat of liquid in a virtual reality? Can you Michelle?

    I actually do believe that the truth is that there is an apple on your desk and that you believe that. Your post expresses almost every frustration I am having with philosophy in general.

    P.S. I also believe you when you say that it's the truth and a reality that you are wearing sweatpants.
